We provide the only Telehealth services in Australia that are designed in collaboration with GPs, local hospital clinicians, patient-flow professionals, patients and local health providers to integrate seamlessly into established models of care. The HealthAccess service represents best practices in the delivery of Telehealth in Australia.

HealthAccess is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. Our service is timely and professional, providing consultations with Australian-qualified and resident doctors (Fellows of the Royal Australian College of GPs or Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine).


Delivering High-Quality Healthcare since 2001

HealthAccess is a service of THCFA which has been delivering remote GP, health and hospital services since 2001. Since 2016, the RGPS has been supporting GPs, hospitals and age care facilities to improve doctor work/life balance, support workforce recruitment and retention, and deliver improved access to quality care in vulnerable communities around Australia.


Working within Established Systems

HealtAccess works with local GPs, pharmacists, aged care providers, NDIS services and hospital medical officers to ensure we integrate into established models of care and support local workforce capacity.  With a long history of supporting rural and remote health and hospital care, we understand that Telehealth cannot replace the continuity of care delivered by a local health team. That is why we maintain a 93% positive satisfaction rate among clinicians and hospital health staff.


Australian resident and accredited doctors

HealtAccess is staffed by doctors with a combined hundreds of years of experience in delivering GP and medical officers services to Australian hospitals and patients.  Unlike other services, all our doctors are resident in Australia and are accredited to deliver high-quality GP and emergency services by the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority and relevant medical collages.  This ensures our clinicians have a deep knowledge of the circumstances and needs of patients.


Latest encryption and security software.

HealthAccess has been delivering secure and encrypted health services to patients and hospitals since 2016.  All our consultations are fully encrypted and we use Argus to transfer patient consultation records back to their regular GP, and scripts to their local pharmacy, to ensure secure, safe, and reliable continuity of care.


Our clinicians are Australian resident and accredited 

HealthAccess is an Australia profit for purpose organisation. Not only does 100% of our resources go to creating jobs and opportunities in Australia, 100% of any surplus we generates goes directly to supporting the establishment and maintenance of on-site primary health care services in rural and remote communities. Today, HealthAccess supports 8 medical centres located in vulnerable rural and remote locations serving more than 20,000 active patients of whom more than 25% are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
