In-Hours, After-Hour - The Hours You Need

HealthAccess can deliver a dedicated After Hours GP Helpline that supports your patients to access healthcare when they need it, while ensuring that you maintain continuity of care.

 

We support communities and local GPs/Visiting Medical Officers by providing patients with a 24/7, 365 day per year after hours Telehealth service, treating low-acuity presentations quickly and effectively - so patients don’t have to go to the hospital. 

 

Low acuity treatments supported by the service include:

  • Abdominal Pain

  • Fainting

  • Headache/Migraine

  • Colds and Flu

  • Fever

  • Sore Throat

  • Allergic reactions

  • Rashes, bites and stings

  • Headache

  • Back pain

  • Diarrhoea and Vomiting

  • Minor Injury

  • Urinary Tract Infections

  • Sporting injuries

  • COVID-19

We ensure continuity of care by liaising with each patient's regular GP, providing an event summary to let you know that your patient has utilised our service, and encouraging follow up with you during regular practice hours.
